The Friends of Hazelhurst winter artist studio visit to Bundeena on the 17 th June 2024 A wonderful and rare opportunity for the FOH to visit art studios in Bundeena and engage with six well known and highly regarded artists who are passionate about their work. The day provided experiences which were inspiring, interesting, informative and sometimes confronting as the artists shared with us,the meaning of their works. The Friends annual exhibition at Hazelhurst was a great success with 101 artists exhibiting with over 100 exceptional art works displayed in the Broadhurst Gallery. Our opening held on Saturday afternoon attracted 150 people and we were delighted when artist Idris Murphy came along and opened the exhibition.  There were some very excited artists as twelve artworks were sold during the period of the exhibition. Members came along to a morning tea in the Cottage followed by artists talks in the Broadhurst Gallery.
